About Blytheville, AR
Our aircraft heavy maintenance and engine disassembly facilities are located in Blytheville, Arkansas, at the former Eaker Air Force Base. Eaker was a former Strategic Air Command (SAC) base (learn more here) where B-52 and KC-135 aircraft were located until the closure of the base in 1992. The airport has been renamed Arkansas International Airport, and ART is now the principal tenant.
Blytheville is located about one hour north of Memphis, TN and about one hour east of the college town of Jonesboro, Arkansas, where Arkansas State University is located (11,000 students).
Blytheville features a low cost of living that makes home ownership and other items much more affordable than in most other cities (cost of living comparison).
